I grew up watching the women in my family put themselves last—always caring for others, running on empty, and wearing exhaustion like a badge of honor. Rest wasn’t valued. Self-care meant a quick trip to the hair or nail salon. I picked up the same habits, believing stress, burnout, and pushing through were just part of life.
Then 12 years ago, everything shifted. My energy came back, my mind felt clear, and I finally felt ALIVE. The secret? I changed how I nourished my body. Whole, energizing foods replaced what was draining me. My mood lifted, my skin glowed, and I learned to listen to what my body truly needed—rest, movement, stillness, or breath.
Before long, I was thriving—not just physically, but mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I realized that true strength means showing up for yourself first. And I knew I had to help others—especially Black and Brown communities—break free from stress, exhaustion, and cycles rooted in culture and environment.
For the past 13 years, I’ve guided hundreds of clients through yoga, meditation, exercise, nutrition, and self-care practices—helping them build confidence, reset habits, and feel calm, energized, and empowered.
